Urban air pollution affects the health, wellbeing and life chances of hundreds of millions of men, women and children every day, especially in developing countires in Asia and Africa.

 

My research has involved understanding the first assessment of air quallity management in twenty Asian cities. As well as laying the foundation for the first Sub-Saharan Africa ministerial conference on better air quality hosted by the United Nations Environment Programme. 

 

In addition,  I have developed appropriate strategic policy frameworks on air quality, and training courses to enhance technical capacity to achieve better air quality.
